Hello Cabin Visitors, my name is Tom Walsh. I know you clicked on the link called Mary Ann's Trunk looking for some recipes or stories from Mary Ann. Perhaps you have read different articles in the past in this trunk, and hopefully have enjoyed them, and maybe tried some of the recipes, and enjoyed them as well. Well, as some of you may have seen, Mary Ann passed away in May 2005. I am Mary Ann's husband, Tom, and I have offered to write articles for the Trunk, kind of a tribute to my WONDERFUL WIFE.
Well to begin with, I am 70 years old, and still working part time, as a Rehabilitation Teacher here in Pennsylvania. I have asked my staff to help me out, and they have promised to give me some real tasty recipes, and interesting articles, so I hope you will enjoy reading each issue of the Trunk. I will be writing in the next about a delicious recipee for butternut squash, from another Mary Ann, one of my employees, and she swears it is delicious, so get your taste buds tuned up, and hopefully some of you will try the recipe.
You will have this recipe early enough to be able to have it in combination with whatever else you have at Thanks Giving. Till next time, take care of yourselves, Stay safe, and please enjoy your browsing around the Cabin.
