
Mix
oatmeal and glitter and any other magical stuff you have. The shinier the
better. Put a little in a plastic bag and tie with a sparkly ribbon and a fancy
tag that says this: "On Christmas Eve before you go to bed, sprinkle this
magic reindeer food on your lawn. the magic glitter, sparkling in the moonlight
and the smell of the oats will help guide Rudolph right to your house."
Give a bag to your favorite children and grown-ups who hold magic in their
hearts. I made some and gave them to all the kids in my neighborhood....Boy did
my neighborhood Sparkle last Christmas Eve!
Hot
glue a few cinnamon sticks together. Tie with bright red, green or plaid ribbon
Hook on tree. If hung by a bulb it warms sticks slightly and smells wonderful.
This is a great one for craft days at school.
Put
whole cloves into oranges and apples til covered. Place in a bowl or basket
with some pinecones. Homemade Potpourri Place orange rinds, cloves, cinnamon
sticks and fresh ginger in a saucepan or potpourri coooker. Smells great!
Glue
silk-leaf wings and hazelnut head to a pinecone, spray with gold paint..glue
gold thread to back of head and hang on tree.
This
is a great one for kids...keeps them busy for hours!
What

food coloring with water to shades desired.put in bottles. Then all you need to
do is spray the snow or a snowman.the more colors the better. You can also make
snow pictures or just let the kids write their names in the snow!
