November 11th is Veterans Day and we give thanks to all our service men and women for serving our country.

November 28th is Thanksgiving Day, a time to be thankful and count our blessings while we enjoy a festive dinner with family and friends. November 30th is the beginning of Chanukah.

The holiday season is rapidly approaching and time to start your what-to-do list like find all those favorite recipes and make a shopping list. Be sure to check the Gingerbread Kitchen for great recipes and check out our gift shop for some great gift-giving ideas.

Cocoa Mix

• 2 cups sifted powdered sugar,
• 2 cups of cocoa mix,
• 2 cups of instant powdered milk,
• 2 cups of mini marshmallows
• 2 cups of dry creamer

Add 1/4 cup of mixture to hot water. Store in large container.

LEMON pie
12 ounce of frozen lemon juice and 1 cup of eagle brand.

Mix together and pour into graham cracker crust. Cover with a small container of cool whip and refrigerate.

Do you like the taste of sauerkraut but not the odor that goes along with it? Well add a little wine or wine vinegar and the odor will disappear.
